Katsudon in Fukui, JAPAN

A katsudon is a popular JAPANESE food, a bowl of rice topped with a deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, and condiments. Variations include sauce katsudon (with Worcestershire sauce), demi katsudon (with demi-glace and often greeｒn peｒas, a specialty of Okayama), shio katsudon (with salt, another Okayama variety), shōyu-dare katsudon (with soy sauce, Niigata style), and miso katsudon (a favorite in Nagoya).

There are many sauce katsudon shop in Fukui. Like Mcdonald’s. At Ogawaya, we can eat it as fastfood. We don’t have to wait, and it is cheep, 380 yen!
Of course, we can buy it at supermarket, eat it as a school lunch, and cook it.

Hoshigaoka!

Today, i'll introduce Hoshigaoka!
Hoshiga is my favorite, too.

There are many lovely cafes and shops!

My favorite restaurant BHANCHA GHAR is in Hoshigaoka, too.
Various restaurant are there.

You can enjoy bowling or shopping at Hoshigaoka Terasu.
And you can enjoy lovely chat in various restaurant.

There are many wicket in Hoshigaoka station.
It is convenient to go shopping.


You can take Higashiyama Subway Line to Hoshigaoka from Kamiyashiro.

Interview Results

We interviewed three foreign students.
We asked them where the best place along Higashiyama line is.
They students answered “Sakae”, because there are many good shops, so they can find favorite one.
They asked us where the best place to know about japanese culture in Nagoya, so we recommended "Kakuozan". There are many old japanese shops like "Dagashiya" and "Shokudo". It is good place for studying Japanese culture.

If you have never gone "Kakuozan", I think you should go there.

Higashiyama Zoo

I'm going to introduce Higashiyama zoo. My friend's father is staff in there, so I have many informations.

There are many animals and flowers, and you can go in there with only 500yen.
“Higashiyama zoo” opens from 9:00 am to 4:50 pm, and there close on Mondays.
You can go there by car or train. There is big parking.

Kakuouzan !

Today, I will introduce my favorite town, Kakuouzan.
Every spring, I go to Kakuouzan Festival.
I can enjoy shopping. There are many creative shops.

I bought stamp. I could designed by my self.
